FAQs:
  • Free Periods: Rotations 3, 4, and 5.
  • Homeroom: Room 106
  • Focus: I'll usually be in Room 106 during Focus if you ever want to meet with me. People may be in here, but feel free to just walk in and ask for help. If I am not there, check on the first floor. Not there? Email me.
  • Free Write Music Requests: It doesn't always have to be my music we're listening to during our Free Writes. Here's how you request music for Free Writes:
    1. Email me your request: bhalter@beaconacademychicago.org
    2. You can only request one song at a time.
    3. Once your song has been played, then you can request another song.
    4. Know that I do have veto power. Be thoughtful in the music you are adding.
  • Checking-in: I am always happy to meet with you and check-in about school, work for my class, or life. Generally, if you ask in the moment and I'm not doing anything, I'll say yes. If I say no, email me to set-up a time. Please make sure that you include the following information in your email:
    • Name(s): Whoever is coming
    • Reason: Check-in, Revision, Coffee, Food, etc.
    • Time and Date: It's much easier for me if you suggest something.
