What is 'Reading'


We're going to explore what it means to 'read' and whether or not we're able to 'read' any of the texts we're looking at in class today. Here's how we're going to do this:
  1. Copy this table into your journal
  2. With your group 'read' the different texts provided
  3. Decide if you think the text is readable and write your rationale
As you're discussing what's readable with your group, also think about the following:
  • How would you define reading?
  • What does it mean to 'read' in this class?
  • Why are we doing this activity?
